We’ll start off with the Bible. Seven appears 54 times within Revelations (the final book of the Bible) but a grand total of 735 times when taking the entire Bible into consideration but when you include words that contain the word ‘seven’ such as “sevenfold” or “seventh” that total becomes 860.
An example of this would be God resting on the 7th day after creating everything within the universe. As we explore the Bible further, we find it originally contained seven main sections: Law, Prophets, Psalms, Gospels, General Epistles, the Epistles of Paul, and finally: the book of Revelations.
The Apostle John gives Jesus seven titles and Jesus himself gives seven parables in Matthew 13 and performs seven miracles on the Holy Sabbath day.
The book of revelations is rife with significant sevens. It is mentioned that there are seven last plagues, marked by seven trumpets and seven seals with seven churches each with an angel (so seven angels) and of course seven thunders.
