Victor Hugo was an exceptional man. He went through great tragedies such as the loss of his beloved daughter. But he was able to genuinely transcend his suffering to leave works filled with love and hope behind.
And this is precisely what I wish to communicate to you today: Love and Hope!
When everything is going wrong, when you tell yourself you can’t make it, when you think nothing will ever change, then, as Victor Hugo put it so nicely, a friend can help us appease our suffering, just like angels. You simply need to accept to put your hand in theirs so the sun can shine bright in your heart.
